So we really try to depreciate, to get more kids get sitting in whisper’s seat. Because; most kids need to be one and tell about 8 to 10 years old.
The child seat needs to be 4ft, that’s a genera rule of thumb. So that can take a car up to about 10 years old sometimes. And the belts really need to come up over their shoulders, and not come up on their neck. So, ya we educate on all levels of car seat safety. The caring handle of the most seats has to be down, when you are traveling. Some of the newest seats, and this is brand new another in a market, may say you can have it up, so on consult yours owner manual on that.
We also had a program called rosy’s car seats for children. It was, started by three participating mothers here in the valley, to provide a car seat to any lender did not have to lend it one. So they ran the program through the health department. So that keeps us mostly busiest people, coming in morning for a car seat through the rosy’s car seat program.
We just ask for small alternation, about seats to continue, to fund this program. So, whenever they are interested they can call us McCone health department at 435-615-3910 and then just say you wanna a car seat and we can take an appointment as soon as we can.
