UDO2 knowledge made easy. For maximum driving safety it is recommended to change your wipers at least once a year replace the complete blade not just the rubber insert.

A complete blade is more effective and easier to change before attempting to replace the blades first check your owners manual for clear instructions on hand to perform this task. On most cars the wiper blades different links. The blade on the driver side is usually longer than the blade on the passenger side. It is sometimes easier to replace the blades if the wipers are stopped in the vertical position of the wind screen. With the ignition on half way start the wipers and stop when in the vertical position. Most modern cars have wiper blades designed to be easily replaced there are variety of different types of wiper blades.

The most common being the U hook type found on most vehicles. Some modern wiper blades also have a wind deflector to improve the contact between the wiper and the wind screen take note of this position it will generally face the bottom of the wind screen. Gently lift the wiper until it clicks into a right angle position away from the wind screen.
