Holley model 4150 mechanical secondary carburetors are easily identified by these features. Dual feed bowls, a primary metering block and a secondary metering block. There is one accelerated pump located on each fuel bowl. Dual bowl pumps indicate the famous Holley double pumper carburetor, and it is can be easily spotted by noticing two accelerator pump arms located at the base of the plate. 4150 is designed to fit in a square bore intake bowl pattern. But you can also use an adaptor, to bolt the spread bore in the place. There is lot more to 4150 mechanical secondary carburetor. Coming for closer look inside.

Lets start with the throttle body. This component is also refers to you as a base plate and might had a few vacuumed port for configuration. Most Holley carburetors generally have a large port that’s intended for drawing a crank case, fumes from a PCV valves. And one other smaller port that’s main for hooking up an accessory, that might require for vacuum. If you base plate has two larger ports, one main for PCV and, other could be used for connecting to a power break booster.
