A modern vehicle like this has got more computing power that put the first man on the moon. And so for certain things it is important you go back to your dealer. Because the dealer has got the equipment that can talk to all those computers.
But there are still simple things you can do yourself in order to prepare for a road trip. I’m going to show you 5 things you can check very quickly yourself in order to prepare for a trip. Firstly start with tires. You need plenty of tread depth because race cars don’t race when it rains because they have slick tires and if you’ve got slick tires you shouldn’t be out in the rain either. And while we’re talking about tires we’ve also got tire pressure.
Tire pressure is awfully important not only for the safety of the vehicle but it will also improve your fuel economy as well if they are properly inflated. Then if we come up here - windshield wipers. Wind shield wiper blades get really really hot and fried in the summer and they go brittle and so they don’t clean properly.
