Cyprus is now regarded as the toughest rally of the year. They are literally thousands of corners making steering a precious but fragile commodity. There are blocks everywhere you look, and one bad assessment can come in power steering problems or stage ending with broken steering arm.
Chris Atkinson has had few steering issues, of his own in past. So you better to get this free mechanic of steering. For up to a Cyprus, and I always say that’s one of tops rallies of year, really twisty, really rough. Most important thing there is our steering. We need to have the steering to make sure we handle the corners, because there are so many corners. So if you loose your power steering then it is impossible, and you gonna loose minutes. So I will give you quick guide through our steering rack, and show you how it works. First thing we go the steering column doming down here, and this is obviously from the steering wheel and arm works this way, way down to the rack.
From there you got hydraulic pressure in the rack. And this pressure forces the oil hen you turn, makes it steering easy to work.
